Is MyWhy free?

Plans start at $9.99/month. You can cancel anytime.

Do I need to be on a GLP-1 medication to use MyWhy?

Not at all. The treatment tracking features are there for people who need them, but the meal check-ins, weekly chart, daily reflections, and Your Why features work for anyone on a weight-loss journey, with or without medication.

Is my data private?

Your most personal content (Why statements, reflections, motivation photos, and personal notes) is stored locally on your device. It never touches our servers. Treatment logs and weight entries are stored securely to power your tracking features. Read our full Privacy Policy for details.

What makes MyWhy different from calorie-counting apps?

MyWhy never asks you to count a calorie, scan a barcode, or weigh your food. Instead, you snap a photo of your meal and answer one question: did it support your goals or not? Over a week, those answers build a chart that shows you whether you're trending in the right direction. If you dip below the goal, you hit the "human" line, not a guilt trip.

How do I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel anytime through your device's app store settings. On iPhone, go to Settings > your name > Subscriptions > MyWhy. On Android, open Google Play > Menu > Subscriptions > MyWhy. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

What is the "human" line?

On your weekly meals chart, there are two lines: "good week" at the top and "human" below it. If your bar of unsupportive meals outweighs the supportive ones and dips below the goal, you land on the "human" line. It's our way of saying: you had a week where you were human. That's not failure. That's life. Next week is right there waiting for you.
